Montfort Centre for Education, Tura has a seperate school for the Blind. It prepares the Visually Impaired children to be integrated in the regular schools by training them in Braille, Abacus, Trailor Frame, etc. Children are admited to Montfort Secondary School - an integrated and inclusive education school, after their class IV in Marian School for the Blind.

Faculty

The centre has specially trained staff to teach Braille, Abacus, Trailor Frame, etc. to the Visually Impaired children. They are also taught music, clay modelling, etc.

Hostel facilities

There is a seperate hostel for the Blind Boys and Girls in the campus.
