Diploma Level Course:

1. Diploma in Special Education to teach the Hearing Impaired - D.Ed. Sp.Ed (HI) 
2. Diploma in Special Education to teach the Visually Impaired - D.Ed. Sp.Ed (VI)

The course is recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), New Delhi 

Eligibility:
Minimum qualification 10+2 or equivalent from any Board / University.

50% marks is mandatory for General category and ST/SC/PWDs – 45%

Total number of Seats: 30 per year per course

Duration of the Course: 2 years (It is regular mode)

Course Fees: Rs.28,000.00 per year
Hostel Fees: Rs. 3500.00 per month including mess fees. 

Separate hostel for Male and Female are available within the campus

How to reach Montfort Centre 

MCE is 6 km from Tura town on the way to Danakgre and about 250 km from Guwahati Railway Station. From Guwahati take day bus (6:30 a.m.) or night bus (8:30 p.m.) to Tura. It is about 6hours drive. Sumo service is also available from Guwahati, Matchkhowa in the morning and afternoon. After reaching Tura take an auto or taxi to MCE. The current fare is Rs.100 to  reach the Centre. You can also take town bus/Magic cab to Danakgre and get down at the gate of Montfort Centre.
